I have been using my Makita cordless chainsaw for 6 years and it is one of my favourite tools. This Makita had low weight, good power and good balance. With DeWalt, Makita, Bosch or other brand names, you will find enormous differences. I just returned a blue Makita 24V Lithium drill after a few weeks. I have used makita drills at work, and though they are good ,they are in no way worth 5 times the cost of the lidl drill. This seriously powerful combi drill from Makita can generate up to 80Nm of torque with the Makita.

I am ready to buy the Makita LXT kit, but have a concern regarding fire or explosion potential during rapid charging of the battery. The different between brush sanding and hand sanding is the uniformity of the stain color.

Just the opposite, you should stop using a Makita cordless drill battery as soon as you feel a substantial decrease in power from the tool.

The Makita BO6040 replaces two machines, making a great value. I agree that my darling made a wise purchase with the Makita Cordless Vacuum. The Makita BO6040 Two Mode Polisher has an orange knob on the left side of the machine which switches it from a random orbital motion to a circular motion!
Makita Compound Miter Parts
Being a finish carpenter for over 30 years I can say that this saw is excellent for the budget end of the Makita line. After reading a lot of reviews both from buyers and from woodworking magazines, I settled on the Makita. I think the Makita LS1214 still has a slightly smoother slide function, yet the Ryobi has a wider mitre angle range, plus a more intuitive clamp system. I also bought the 80 tooth Makita blade and used it a lot this past weekend cutting moulding and baseboards.
Makita owes its reputation for building outstanding quality power tools to the drive and determination for excellence that began from day one of its operations and still continues to this day. I for one will only ever choose Makita tools when purchasing and unfortunately DeWalt will always have to take second place, for me at least.
