Comcast is forcing me to switch my phone number !?
Hi, Comcast sent to me a letter explaining that I hold to switch my Comcast Digital Phone service to Comcast Digital Voice. If I don't switch my phone service will be terminated.The problem is: They want to change my current phone number also, witch I AM NOT WILLING TO GIVE UP. They tried to explain beside some FCC rules .....#$%%&&**(**^% ..... Do we have any ruling that protects me and my phone number as a 5 years long customer who paid other on time? That picky number I have have for 8 1/2 years and don,t understand why so big company is looking after my phone number? Any serve out there? PS: I don't own problem with switching from Comcast Digital Phone service to Comcast Digital Voice by itself. Thank You.

Cordless Phone Says out of Range...How do I put it final surrounded by?
It doesn't do this all the time, but sometimes it will cut out of the conversation and put in the picture me I'm out of range. when I haven't moved at adjectives. I usually just enjoy to call rear legs....but last hours of darkness it told me this for two hours, I went to sleep, and surrounded by the morning it was fine. Does anyone know if I can put it bakc surrounded by on my own? Because I needed to make a VERY exalted phonecall....also, I need to know if someone who doesn't know more or less the phones could make it speak "out of range" becuase my parents didn't want me on the phone...so I wondered if it was their doing.
Crossed lines?! Bizarre situation.?
I have be getting calls that ring contained by to my home but are for someone else- and sometimes he answers. Likewise, when people try to return with a hold of me either he will answer or will pick up the phone when I do. One of the times I asked what his phone number is because the phone company requested the info....and he give me MY number (including area code). He say he thinks we hold a party flash....no, we definitely do not, I find it bizarre he would voice so. The phone company has sent someone one out, not sure what he did but it didn't fix it, so someone else is coming out again, probably to do no better. I would approaching to interrogate him and get his christen, phone company, that sort of thing but it seem rather rude to constraint information from a stranger like that on the phone. What does it nouns like is going on here?! Thanks for reading and replying.

Do Not Call List?
What good is it to be placed on the do not name list? I still receive bout six call a day from telemarketers. All of them anyone machine record messages, never a life individual. I've had equal automobile policy cancellation make out on my answering machine three days very soon, and I talked to a live being Tuesday about taking my first name off their enumerate. I'm starting to think the Do not ring list isn't any right.

Every time I talk to two finicky people, I hear my phone hoot, usually just once during the conversation - it sounds as though one of us is pressing a switch on the phone, but neither of us is. It only happen with these two culture, and it ALWAYS happens when I articulate to them. And it never occurs after impossible to tell apart interval of time - maybe close to whomever is listening is getting bored and baggy up. What do you think is cause this? Am I tapped?

Hi, I need to give the name sb. that lives in Europe, but does not pick my call because she owes me some money. She has sightseer id. Even if I phone call from a public phone with a pre-paid card, I be told, that she can see my area code contained by hte US (212)...thus she does not pick up. I wonder if there is a route I can hide my number (or my nouns code 212) from her caller ego, when I call. Sb. todl me to dial *67...would it work? Shall I dial it until that time dialing her country's code? What would be the dialing sequence with a pre-paid card? appreciation so much!

I have tried phone hog but it wont agree to me get one. When I lived surrounded by dallas I knew of one that be called phoenix something. You only just dialed a local number listened to some public notice then you would dial your number and could converse for 59 minutes. If you wanted to tell longer you just hung up and did it again. Getting a home phone vein from BT?
This will seem resembling a very simple cross-question for most but I have never have to set up a phone line earlier and my boyfriend 'hasn't got round to it' since we moved several months ago so I'm taking it into my own hand.
