Traditional Mini Blinds

Description - Traditional mini blinds have 1-inch aluminum slats. They come in a wide range of colors and are generally very affordable. Generally, they have wand tilts and pull string lift cords.

Description - Cordless mini blinds have the same 1-inch slats as traditional blinds. You can find them in Alabaster, Mocha, Silver, Silver Sage, and White. The big difference is the child safe controls. Instead of string cords, these raise and lower by hand for maximum child safety.

Suggested Uses - Cordless mini blinds work wherever you would put traditional blinds, except these are perfect for homes with young children. They are safe for nurseries, playrooms and anywhere else where young children play.

Drawbacks - Like all aluminum mini blinds, they can bend and break if proper care is not taken.

8 Gauge Aluminum Blinds
Description - The 8 gauge mini blinds are made from thicker contractor gauge aluminum. This makes them stronger and sturdier than traditional 6 gauge blinds. They come in Almost White, Black, Brushed Aluminum, Char Brown, Light Alabaster, and White.

Suggest Uses - These blinds cost a little more than your traditional 6-gauge blinds. However, they are great for places that are exposed to a little more roughhousing. They won't bend or break as easily meaning you can feel secure using them on doors and windows where privacy is an issue.

Drawback - While 8-gauge is stronger, it is not as strong as real or faux wood blinds. If continually bent from peeking, then they may break.
