The only two drawbacks that you have to consider in cordless string trimmers are its batteries that have to be occasionally charged and the tendency to have the string manually adjusted although it is released automatically. However these drawbacks are simply unmemorable compared to how your body would have to thank cordless string trimmer's portability and cleanliness in your long time use.
