Both of these compressors are 120 volt power. These are the hand held carry around type.

These units also come in the wheeled portable type of the Emglo Compressor as well. The wheeled units allow the consumer to treat it as a wheeled dolly for easy travel as well as needing to lug other equipment around as well. These models can hold up to items up to 100 pounds on their flat platform built above the actual air compressor. These units have an oil lubricated pump. This pump helps to improve the performance of the compressor itself. They also come with universal quick couplers so that you can use several different tools without having to constantly change the connection.

The D55155 Emglo Air has a four gallon tank and has 120 volt AC power. It has a 1.2 continuous horse power motor as well as a direct drive. The model D55153 has a 1.1 continuous horsepower motor and also has a four gallon tank. Both of these models have a direct drive. These models are usually used for larger jobs. As you can see no matter what job you may have to do, Dewalt will have an air compressor that will work for you. You just have to decide on which on to buy.
