This is exactly the same B&D battery that came with the tool when it was new.
Just a reminder the tool came with a cheap charger that will destroy the battery when it goes bad. Mine did. I'd invest in a charger along with the new battery. If you charger went bad it will just damage the new one. B&D makes batter chargers that will not damage the battery, but for the same price you can buy a dewalt charger. I had a dewalt charger for my drill/saw combo and it charger this B&D battery just fine in 15 minutes +/-. If you already have one, take a look at it, most will charge a range of 7.2v to 18v, it will indicate so on the charger.

Brought My Old Drill Back to Life
I have a great old Black and Decker drill that I've bought a few years ago and the battery slowly faded. I bought this battery and it's like new again. Cordless drills are such a rip off these days; There's a huge variety of battery voltages and options - and for that reason I've always had corded drills in my tool arsenal because they're dependable and they are not subject to technological trendiness. Quite a few manufacturers are now even selling their new cordless drills WITHOUT a battery - so you have to purchase the new drill and then buy a battery for it - which is just crazy. Sometimes though it's just SO convenient to have the cordless to do a quick job and I loved being able to give new life to my old tool, which is familiar to me and works great. This was well worth the money...
