Also diamond drilling tools are far more smooth functioning compared to “jarring” roto-hammer type drills that use steel bits. This means less operator fatigue, less dust and noise and less risk to the operator of repetitive movement injuries.

Diamond Cutting and Drilling Tools Never Go Dull

Another benefit of diamond core bits and any other diamond cutting or drilling tool for that matter is that they never go dull. This doesn't mean that they last forever. It just means that as long as there are diamonds still embedded in the surface, the tool will cut or drill just as well on the last day of its working life as it did on its first day when it came fresh out of the box.
