How to Charge Your Cordless Drill Battery?

Cordless Drills operate by using electricity drawn from a wall outlet and stored in rechargeable battery cells. Energy is transferred from the outlet to the BOSCH BAT026 battery through the use of a new battery charger that plugs into the outlet. To get the most power and longest possible working time out of your cordless Drill, you should fully charge the BOSCH BAT026 battery after each use.
1. Disengage the throttle or activation switch on your cordless drill; allow the motor and all moving parts to come to a complete stop.
2. Remove the BOSCH BAT026 battery from the cordless drill. Refer to your cordless drill's operation manual for instructions regarding how to remove the BOSCH BAT026 battery.
3. Set the BOSCH BAT026 battery aside and allow it to cool for 10 to 15 minutes to avoid overheating the BOSCH BAT026 battery during the charging process.
4. Plug the cordless drill's battery charger into an active wall outlet. Use the charger that came with your cordless drill; if you do not have the cordless drill's original battery charger, be sure to use a charger that matches the voltage of your BOSCH BAT026 battery. Consult your operation manual or your cordless drill's manufacturer to determine the proper voltage rating for your BOSCH BAT026 battery and charger. Mismatching the voltages of a battery and charger can result in poor battery performance, damage the BOSCH BAT026 battery or create an electrical fire.
5. Insert the BOSCH BAT026 battery into the charger. Verify that the BOSCH BAT026 battery is charging; if the light on your charger is red, the BOSCH BAT026 battery is currently charging. You will know that the battery is fully charged when the light on the charger turns green.
6.Remove the BOSCH BAT026 battery from the charger, unplug the charger and insert the battery into your cordless drill.
