Review of the Makita BFS450 Cordless Drywall Screwdriver Kit

The Makita BFS450 Cordless Drywall Screwdriver Kit has a compact structure that is 10.5 inches long and weighs 4.2lbs. This tool is light weight and portable and has safety options built in to prevent injuries.

The device operates on the LXT Lithium-Ion battery, which can run for a long period of time between charges. The battery is produced with 16 holding contact terminals that enables the use of the unit's power when needed.

Included as part of the kit is the 30-minute Rapid Optimum Charger and the LXT Lithium-Ion battery. The charger has received an ENERGY STAR rating for its energy saving features. The Makita BFS450 also comes with an internal fan that cools the battery when in use. This extends the life span of the battery

There is no need for a flashlight when using this tool because it has a L.E.D. light built in. The tough aluminum dust proof depth modification cone comes off effortlessly for bit changes. The device has a fine depth alteration ring with 60 detent positions that also comes with the unit for those precision tasks.

This tool is produced with safety in mind. One of its safest features is the simple, grip handle. It meets all hand size requirements, so there is no need to stress about your hand fitting the handle.

The Makita BFS450 comes with a silent clutch, that when in the forward position produces a  lower noise output. Lastly, there are two additional items included in the kit, a bag and a tool belt clip for easy transport.
