DECT Phones - Digital wireless communication
DECT phones are digital devices of highly sophisticated technology which help to extend or increase electric signals. These phones have a decent frequency range form 19220 MHZ to 1930 MHZ which operates properly in congested domestic radio traffic also.
DECT phones don't need any fixed GSM standards and can connect through a proper base station. It is a 3G system recognized by the ITU (International Telecommunication Union) as it is fulfilling the IMT – 2000 (International Mobile Telecommunication) requirements properly.
Various technologies are using in DECT phone technology. Some of them are;
1. PBX or Cordless private branch exchange: this allows the distributing companies to connect to a wired telephone company and then retransmitted the call over a DECT cordless phone system through an antenna. This system is particularly fit for the work organization who have a large number of mobile employees such as Banks and hospitals.
2. Home cordless phone: Users may install a single cell antenna anywhere in their house and have a DECT handset in each and every room and can use it accordingly.
3. GSM/DECT Inter networking: The DECT standards also can interact or connect with GSM standards which allows users to move freely indoor and outdoor while talking.
DECT phones are highly in demand all over the world with the increasing development in telecommunication field. They have exceptional voice clarity, easy registration, data storage directory, text messaging and high frequency which catches the electric signals easily.
Through DECT phones, you can also talk to other person, where it rather acts like a Walkie Talkie device. Battery of the phone is totally depending on the amount of money you spend on the phone. Expensive handsets allows you to talk more freely up to around eight hours with a single charge up. When not in use, it can retain a charge of around 100 hours. Most of the DECT Phones have battery alert device which gives the signal of low when the battery power is low.
